Shirley Ann Elizabeth Hefflinger, 67, of Grassy, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Nov. 21, 1941, at Red Bud, Ill., daughter of Martin and Alice E. Wall Burgdorf. She married August Hefflinger on March 16, 1960, in Waterloo, Ill.
Mrs. Hefflinger had worked for Rubbermaid as a machine operator and was of the Lutheran faith.
Survivors include her husband August of Grassy; a son, Roger Hefflinger of Grassy; two daughters, Alice Nagel of Grassy and Melissa Russell of Marble Hill, Mo.; three brothers Robert Burgdorf, Richard Burgdorf, both of Red Bud, Martin Burgdorf Jr. of Baldwin, Ill.; two sisters, Carol Burgdorf of Baldwin, Luann Buelher of Ruma, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, and from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home in Red Bud.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Koch-Liefer Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Red Bud.
