SIKESTON -- Funeral for Shirley Sullins Donze of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel. Msgr. William Stanton will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Donze, 58, died Monday, March 15, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 21, 1940, at Morehouse, daughter of Claude Lee and Eva Lou Patrick Copeland.
Donze was a certified medical technician and worked eight years at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She had also been a private duty nurse.
She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality, Eagles Auxiliary, and American Legion Auxiliary. She served five years on the executive board of Scott County March of Dimes.
Survivors include two daughters, Pam Eldridge and Becky Crumpecker of Sikeston; her mother of Sikeston; a brother, Rocky Copeland of Morehouse; two sisters, Claudette Copeland of Morehouse, Alma Acord of Memphis, Tenn.; a half brother, Vince Copeland of Springfield; and two grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her father.
