SCOTT CITY -- Funeral for Shirley Jean Corn of St. Louis will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Charles Lance will officiate. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Corn, 63, died Wednesday, March 31, 1999, at St. Louis University Hospital.

She was born April 15, 1935, in St. Louis, daughter of Fred Joseph and Sylvia Brant Rau. She married Ray Corn Nov. 3, 1956, in Hernando, Miss.

Corn had been an assembler at Klasek Letter Co. Inc. She was a member of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church.

She was formerly of Scott City.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Ray Corn Jr. of St. Louis; two daughters, Linda Hill and Mary Corn of St. Louis; three brothers, Fred Rau Jr. of Arnold, Jerry Rau of Acton, Ill., Dennis Rau of Helena, Mont.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.
