Shirley Jean Cochrane, 82, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Jan. 6, 1926, in Brookfield, Mo., daughter of Thaddius and Sylvia Overton Seeley. She and James A. Cochrane Jr. were married Feb. 9, 1946, in Keokuk, Iowa. He preceded her in death Dec. 15, 1974.
Cochrane was a member of First Presbyterian Church, former member of Executive Club, Town and Country Garden Club and Saint Francis Auxiliary.
Survivors include three sons, James A. Cochrane III of Cape Girardeau, David Cochrane of Haughton, La., Stephen Cochrane of West Helena, Ark.; a daughter, Jean Ann Hampton of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
There will be no visitation.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cape County Memorial Park.
All memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church or Alzheimers Association.
