HERRIN, Ill. -- Shirley Ann Bonds, 63, of Herrin, formerly of Kankakee, Ill., died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006, at Southern Illinois Healthcare.
She was born April 4, 1942, at Malden, Mo., son of the late Lonnie Russell and Nellie Idola Vaughn Kincade. She married Billie L. Bonds March 18, 1960.
Shirley retired as a production worker from General Foods in Kankakee.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Rickey and wife Kimberly Bonds of Paducah, Ky., Darrin and wife Heather Bonds of Johnston City, Ill.; a daughter, Rhonda (Bonds) and husband David Martin of Louisville, Ky.; two brothers, Johnny Kincade of Benton, Ky., Larry Kincade of Kankakee; three sisters, Wilma Bonds of Watseka, Ill., Linda Dinning and Glenda Jackson of Benton, Ky.; nine grandchildren, Jamie Cailteux, Brandon Bedore, Autumn Hill, Amy Martin, Aaron Martin, Adam Martin, Jacob Martin, Zoe Bonds, Jeffrey Bonds; and two great-grandchildren, Kate Cailteux and Annabelle Martin.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Danny Hanners officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Arbor.
