BOAZ, Ill. -- Shelby Jean Myrick, 65, of Boaz died Tuesday, April 2, 2002, at the Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
She was born Aug. 22, 1936, at Boaz, the daughter of Joe and Lillie Durall Meyer. She married Clifford F. Myrick. He survives.
She was employed at Main Bros. Box & Lumber Co. of Karnak.
She also is survived by two sons, Clifford D. "Hoogie" Myrick of Karnak, Ill., and Larry A. "Rabbit" Myrick of Boaz; four sisters, Betty Walker and Wilma Dunning, both of Ursa, Ill., Connie Baker of Quincy, Ill., and Jeannie Law of Mounds, Ill.; two brothers, Bill Meyer of Karnak and Jerry Meyer of Anna, Ill., five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Boaz Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Flo Patrick and Alvin Thomas officiating.
Burial will be at the Anderson Cemetery at Boaz.
