Shelby Denise Lewis, 51, of Washington, D.C., died Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
She was born Nov. 14, 1957, in Chicago, daughter of John Henry and Mary Sue Campbell McCline.
Lewis was a nurse.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Mary and Harry Wilson; a brother, Tony R. McCline; a sister, Alice McCline, all of Cape Girardeau; two nephews, Damien A. Brown of St. Louis, Brandon A. Lee-McCline of Joliet, Ill.; and a niece, Jamiah McCline of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to service time Sunday at St. James AME Church.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, with the Rev. Debbie Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
