Sheila Dianne Marks, 64 years, two months and 12 days, of Jackson, formerly of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at her home. Born April 24, 1952, in Niles, Michigan, to the late William Franklin and Vernice Mildred Fletcher Walker, Sheila was a cook and nurse's aide for many years at East Prairie Nursing Center and loved working with her late husband, Malcom, on their farm. ...

Sheila Dianne Marks, 64 years, two months and 12 days, of Jackson, formerly of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016, at her home.

Born April 24, 1952, in Niles, Michigan, to the late William Franklin and Vernice Mildred Fletcher Walker, Sheila was a cook and nurse's aide for many years at East Prairie Nursing Center and loved working with her late husband, Malcom, on their farm. On May 31, 1997, in East Prairie, she married Malcom Marks, who preceded her in death Sept. 25, 2009.

She is survived by one daughter-in-law, Felicia and Cecil Dodge of Jackson; one sister, Lisa Greenwalt of Jackson; one brother, Jack Walker, address unknown; two grandchildren, Jacob Dodge and Andrew Dodge; and a host of relatives and many friends.

Besides her husband and parents, six brothers, Terry, Ricky, Rocky, Mark, Kevin and Robyn Walker, also preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

The funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Shelby Chapel at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ronnie Brown officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricky Ashcraft, Harry Brack, Kenneth Brack, Isiah Douglas, Kyle Greenwalt and Seth O'Guin.
