BERNIE -- Shawn Keith Reece, 27, of Waverly died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 1999, at Malta Bend.

He was born Dec. 7, 1971, in Salida, Colo., son of James L. and Helen Viola Orick Reece. He and Joleen Marie Champion were married Aug. 20, 1994, at Powe.

Reece was employed at the Continental Deli in Concordia. He was a member of Fairview General Baptist Church at Doniphan.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Austin Reece of the home; a daughter, Courtney Reece of the home; his father of Doniphan; his mother of Bernie; two brothers, Jeffery and James Reece of Bernie.

Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bernie Cemetery.
