Sharon Walker

COBDEN, Ill. -- Sharon K. Walker, 52, of Cobden died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.

She was born Dec. 22, 1951, in Anna, daughter of Robert and Rosetta Vancil Forehand. She married Ty Walker Nov. 24, 1971, in Muleshoe, Texas.

Walker was a member of Third Baptist Church in West Frankfort, Ill.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Rachel Walker of Jonesboro, Ill., Kristi Walker of Cobden; her father, Robert Forehand of Anna; and a sister, Mary Ann Archy of Anna.

She was preceded in death by her mother and a brother.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Allen Speer officiating. Burial will be in Cobden Cemetery.
