SHARON P. SLINKARD

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Mrs. Sharon P. Slinkard, 1113 N. Fountain, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. The Revs. Cy Smith and Jim Sanderson will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Mrs. Slinkard, 39 years old, died Tuesday, April 9, 1991, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 11, 1951, in Cape, daughter of Robert and Mary Cotner Sander. She married Mike L. Slinkard June 4, 1970, in Cape.

Mrs. Slinkard was a 1969 graduate of Central High School and had worked at Cape Public Library. She received a B.S. degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University in 1989, and was a nurse at St. Francis Medical Center. She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Christopher and Timothy Slinkard of Cape; a daughter, Heather Slinkard of Cape; her parents of Cape, and a brother, David Sander of Manchester.
