CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Sharon Mae Henson, 52, of Chaffee died Friday, July 28, 2000, at her home. She was born on July 27, 1948, at Silver Mines, Mo., daughter of Hugo and Zola Vance Pinkley. She married Johnny W. Henson. He died on Dec. 6, 1991. She graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1966. ...

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Sharon Mae Henson, 52, of Chaffee died Friday, July 28, 2000, at her home.

She was born on July 27, 1948, at Silver Mines, Mo., daughter of Hugo and Zola Vance Pinkley. She married Johnny W. Henson. He died on Dec. 6, 1991.

She graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1966. She was a doctor's assistant at Internal Medicine Group, now Physicians Associates. She owned and operated Henson Cafe in Scott City, Mo., over 13 years. She was a past member of Parents Without Partners and had served as membership chairman. She also was a past member of the Scott City Chamber of Commerce. She was a member of the SEMO Booster Club and a member of the Mount Auburn Christian Church.

Survivors include her mother of Ironton, Mo.; three sons, Rocky and Scott Henson of Scott City and Shannon Henson of Chaffee; two daughters, Monica Conway of Park Hills, Mo., and Jo Cummins of Scott City; a stepdaughter, Maria Lynn of Chaffee; six brothers, Donald and Robert Pinkley of Ironton, David and Kenneth Pinkley of Fredericktown, Mo., Johnny Pinkley of Farmington, Mo., and William Pinkley of O'Fallon, Mo.; two sisters, Darlene Miller of Gainesville, Mo., and Elaine Adams of Ironton; seven grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and her husband.

Friends may call Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Wes Wright and Terry Eades officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
