Sharon Janene Hahs, 66, of Jackson passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at her home. She was born Aug. 5, 1943, in St. Louis, the daughter of John and Jennie Vines Wilson. She and Gregory Lee Hahs were married April 10, 1965. He passed away April 9, 2003...

Sharon Janene Hahs, 66, of Jackson passed away Friday, Feb. 5, 2010, at her home.

She was born Aug. 5, 1943, in St. Louis, the daughter of John and Jennie Vines Wilson. She and Gregory Lee Hahs were married April 10, 1965. He passed away April 9, 2003.

Sharon was a member of First General Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau and a member of the Red Hat Society in Cape Girardeau. As her children were growing up, she was active in Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and the Cape Girardeau PTA. She and her husband owned and operated the former Hahs Office Equipment and Heartland Antiques in Cape Girardeau. She was employed part-time at Kmart in Cape Girardeau.

Loving survivors include a son, Scott (Carolyn) Hahs of Jackson; two daughters, Tammy (Keith) Monia of Cape Girardeau and Jennie (David) Webb of Jackson; seven grandchildren, Lars, Candace and Clayton Monia, Brandon Hahs, Casey Webb, Courtney Hahs and Tyler Webb; and dear friends, Leonard and Sharon Dreyer of Jackson.

Also surviving are two sisters, Margaret Harper and Shirley Parker, both of Granite City, Ill.; and a brother, Jack Wilson of Fresno, Calif.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Glen Wilson; and an infant sister, Sandy Wilson.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev Dean Jaggers officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
