Sharon Delay

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Sharon Mangrum Delay, 58, of Advance passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 20, 1952, at Allenville, daughter of Ralph and Mary Irving Mangrum.

Sharon was a member of Advance Eagles.

Survivors include her mother, Mary Mangrum of Advance; two sons, Walter Williams of Cape Girardeau, Rodney (Vida-Day) Williams of Camp Lejeune, N.C.; two daughters, Stacey (Josh) Hemby Forbes of Guyton, Ga., Jennifer (Walter) Hemby Wright of Springfield, Ga.; four brothers, Jessie Mangrum of Advance, Randy Mangrum of Brownwood, Mo., Darrell Mangrum of Fruitland, Kevin (Beverly) Mangrum of Bloomfield, Mo.; five sisters, Fran (Larry) Wolfe of Allenville, Kathy Ross and Tena Matthew of Dexter, Mo., Mildred (Eugene) Condon of West Virginia, Cindy Galloway of Dexter; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Phil Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Hobbs Chapel Cemetery near Puxico, Mo.
