FREDERICKTOWN -- Funeral service for Sgt. Randy Vincent Sullivan of Fredericktown will be held at 2 p.m. today at Meadow Heights Baptist Church in Fredericktown, with the Rev. Jim DeSpain officiating. Burial will be in Marcus Memorial Park here.
Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Sullivan, 40, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 1996, in an automobile accident near Fredericktown while on duty with the Missouri Highway Patrol.
He was born Jan. 17, 1956, in Ironton, son of Ernest E. and Opal Bernice Fowler Sullivan. He and Brenda Kay Westmoreland were married April 21, 1979.
Sullivan joined the highway patrol Aug. 1, 1978. He was a member of Missouri State Trooper Association and a member, deacon and Sunday School teacher at Meadow Heights Church.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Justin, Brandon and Caleb Sullivan of the home; his parents of Piedmont; a brother, Gary Sullivan of St. Louis; two sisters, Kim Melton and Jonna Sutton of Piedmont.
