OAK RIDGE, Missouri -- Serrelda Frances "Sally" Slinkard, 80, of Oak Ridge passed away Friday, June 27, 2014, at her home in Oak Ridge. She was born Dec. 1, 1933, in Marble Hill, Missouri, daughter of Earnest E. and Dona Grable Pulliam. She and Ernest Allen "Cotton" Slinkard were married Feb. 23, 1951, in Marble Hill. He preceded her in death Sept. 22, 2011...

OAK RIDGE, Missouri -- Serrelda Frances "Sally" Slinkard, 80, of Oak Ridge passed away Friday, June 27, 2014, at her home in Oak Ridge.

She was born Dec. 1, 1933, in Marble Hill, Missouri, daughter of Earnest E. and Dona Grable Pulliam. She and Ernest Allen "Cotton" Slinkard were married Feb. 23, 1951, in Marble Hill. He preceded her in death Sept. 22, 2011.

Sally attended the Cape County Cowboy Church.

She enjoyed crocheting, flower gardening and her dogs.

Loving survivors include four sons, Ernest "Bub" (Vickie) Slinkard and Roger (Pauline) Slinkard of Oak Ridge, David (Sue) Slinkard of Cape Girardeau, and Dennis (Debbie) Slinkard of Daisy, Missouri; six daughters, Deborah Wolfe, Terressa "Sis" Slinkard and Karen Chamness of Oak Ridge, Lisa (Scottie) Hollowell and Sandra Slinkard of Cape Girardeau, and Stacy (Ray) Glastetter of Jackson.

Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Joel Slinkard (July 6, 2009); a sister, Eugenia Baker; and two brothers, Henry and Truman Pulliam.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ronnie Brown officiating.

Burial will follow at Cook Cemetery in Scopus, Missouri.

Memorials may be made to the Wyatt Glastetter Fund.
