Selma M. Crisler, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, June 7, 2003, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Sept. 23, 1914, in Paducah, Ky., daughter of Luther and Alma Rainwater Rodgers. She and Claude E. Crisler were married Oct. 3, 1942. He died Jan. 6, 1978.
Crisler moved to Cape Girardeau from Sedgewickville, Mo. She was self-employed in selling real estate and managing rental property. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, H. Roger Bynum of Sedgewickville, Claude A. Crisler of Troy, Ill.; three daughters, Alma Louise Fraino of Dry Ridge, Ky., Shirley Procter of St. Charles, Mo., Karol Thomas of Belleville, Ill.; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a sister, and a granddaughter.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jerry Statler officiating. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Valhalla Cemetery in St. Louis.
