SCOTTIE J. MADDOX

MATTHEWS -- Funeral service for Scottie Joseph William Maddox Sr. of Matthews will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. The Rev. Larry Long will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Maddox, 67, died Sunday, Nov. 26, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, following an extended illness.

He was born Dec. 27, 1927, in East Prairie, son of Charles and Ida Marshall Younger Maddox.

Maddox was a retired farmer.

Survivors include a son, Scottie Maddox Jr. of Sikeston; two daughters, Linda Hampton and Kathy Patrick of Sikeston; a brother, Ernest Maddox, address unknown; two sisters, Mildred Smith of Alabama, Madge Martino of Alton, and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
