COBDEN, Ill. -- Scott Sivia, 39, of Cobden died Friday, April 14, 2006, at Union County Hospital.

He was born Nov. 29, 1966, in Anna, Ill.

He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Carbondale, Ill. Sivia worked as a PSA at Union County Hospital in Anna for 16 years and then at Marion VA Hospital for the past eight years.

Survivors include a half brother, Perry Youngblood of Dongola, Ill.; and a friend, Tom Schutt of Cobden.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Duncan.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Hileman Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kim Magwire officiating.

Visitation will continue from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mission Chapel Cemetery.
