SARAH WEST

CHARLESTON -- Sarah West, 85, of Charleston, died Friday, Feb. 12, 1993, at Charleston Manor.

She was born Jan. 19, 1908, in Greenville, Miss., daughter of Eddie and Elnora Epps Kirkland.

West was a member of Mercy Seat Baptist Church, where she had been a Sunday School teacher and served on the Mission Board.

Survivors include a daughter, Elnora Ewing of Charleston; a grandson, and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Mercy Seat Church. The Rev. J.L. Posey will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call Friday at the church after 11 a.m.
