TAMMS, Ill. -- Funeral service for Sarah Annette Mueller Kee of Tamms will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms. The Rev. Tom Bailey will officiate, assisted by Larry Naeger. Burial will be in McCrite Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Saturday.

Kee, 14, died Wednesday, March 22, 1995, at the University of Missouri Children's Hospital in Columbia, following an extended illness.

She was born Oct. 21, 1980, in Granite City.

Kee was a freshman honor student at Egyptian High School and member of Beta Club. She had been invited to the 1995 Challenge to Excellence at Southern Illinois University.

Survivors include her parents, Mary Pinero (Kee) and Ron Kee of Tamms, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Mueller; a sister, Bonnie Kesler of Edwardsville; a stepsister, Julie Kee of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; grandparents, Joseph and Almetta Pinero, Ervin and Eva Mueller of Madison, George and Evelyn Kee of Tamms, and great-grandmother, Hazel Newell of Tamms.
