POPLAR BLUFF -- Sarah M. Kerr, 85, of Poplar Bluff died Sunday, Feb. 9, 1997, at Westwood Hills Health Care Center.
She was born July 16, 1911, in rural southern Illinois. She was a longtime resident of McClure, Ill. She married William Doyle Kerr, who died in 1992.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Kerr of Poplar Bluff, Larry Kerr of Bastrop, Texas; a daughter, Karen Burris of Georgetown, Texas; two sisters, Beulah Waddell of McClure, Virginia Norman of Ketchikan, Alaska; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at Cotrell Funeral Chapel.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Lindsey Cemetery at McClure.
