She was born June 5, 1991, in Portland, Maine, daughter of Michael and Cindy Rounds Sander.

Survivors include her parents; a brother, Benjamin Sander; maternal grandparents, Robert and Shirley Rounds of Bristol; paternal grandparents, Ivan and Betty Sander of Columbia, and paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Wendel of Jackson.
