PARMA -- Funeral for Sanford Freeman of Parma will be held at 2 p.m. today at Parma Church of God. Carl O'Dell and Frank Townsend will officiate. Burial will be in Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma is in charge of arrangements.
Freeman, 58, died Monday, March 27, 2000, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.
He was born Aug. 2, 1941, in Trenton, Tenn., son of John Franklin and James Edna Harris Freeman. He and Patsy Ann Tate were married Nov. 12, 1982, at Lilbourn.
A lifelong resident of Parma, Freeman was a farmer and member of Parma Church of God.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Wayne Freeman of Birch Tree, Jerry Freeman of Lilbourn, Russell Moore of Obion, Tenn.; a daughter, Lucinda Gray of Poplar Bluff; five brothers, Tommy, Elden and A.J. Freeman of Tennessee, Henry Freeman of Sikeston, J.D. Freeman of Bell City; three sisters, Opal Roberts of Parma, Jodie Sprous of Sikeston, Mary Duck of Aurora, Ill.; and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
