Sandra Smith

Sandra Sue Smith, 69, of Jackson passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 2, 1952, in Sylvester, West Virginia, daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Farris Bowles.

Sandra was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a CNA for Missouri Veterans Home, Lutheran Home and Comfort Keepers in Cape Girardeau.

Loving survivors include three daughters, Tammy (David) Hartis and Samantha Bowles, both of Jackson, and Latisha Smith of Cape Girardeau; a son, Philip Smith of Cape Girardeau, five grandchildren, Cherish Bowles, Chloe King, Nathaniel Hartis, Micah Turks and Oliver Hartis.

She was preceded in death by parents, seven sisters and two brothers.

A private memorial service will be held later.

Sandra's family has entrusted McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson with her final arrangements.
