STE. GENEVIEVE -- Sandra J. Molitor, 51, of Ste. Genevieve, died Saturday, May 29, 1999, at her home.
She was born Jan. 31, 1948, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Joseph and Mildred Bollinger Birk of Cape Girardeau. On Feb. 16, 1974, she married Larry Molitor in St. Louis. He survives.
She had worked as a librarian at Valle Catholic High School. She was a member of Church of Ste. Genevieve and the parish council, Mothers Against Driving Drunk, Foundation for Restoration of Ste. Genevieve and was a founder of TEAM Spirit, an anti-drug and alcohol program. She was a member and past president of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.
Other survivors include her mother; a son, Chris Molitor of Ste. Genevieve; a daughter, Katie Molitor of Ste. Genevieve; a brother, Bob Birk of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Nancy Stone of Cape Girardeau; and a grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today at Church of Ste. Genevieve, with the Rev. John Patrick Day officiating. Burial will follow at Valle Spring Cemetery.
Visitation was Monday at Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
