GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Sandra Sue Martin, 76, of Glenallen died Friday, March 4, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born on March 22, 1940, in Cape Girardeau, she was the daughter of Murrell and Idell Myrtle Baker Kirkpatrick. She married Darrell Cornman on Sept. 3, 1955. He preceded her in death in 2003. On March 25, 2005, she married Charles A. Martin in Marble Hill, Missouri. He survives.
She worked in several different areas during her life, but owned a private home-care business before retiring.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Mitch (Linda) Cornman of Marble Hill; and five grandchildren, Kyle, Brett and Samantha Cornman, Rosalind Benson and McKencie Weston.
She was preceded in death by a son, Scott Cornman, in 2006; and her parents.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Bobby Miller officiating. Burial will be in Glenallen Cemetery.
