ADVANCE, Mo. -- Sandra Sue Dooley Below, 63, of Advance was born June 2, 1949, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Cedric and Pearline Moore Dooley.
"Some souls pass through this lifetime like a very gentle rain; they touch our hearts and then return to heaven once again."
By God's grace and mercy, Sue was called home Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013.
Sue was an active member of First Baptist Church of Delta. She so enjoyed her Sunday-school class and always was thankful for its members. Among her many friends were a special group of ladies: Brenda Brown, Cathy Campbell, Wilma Huffman, Peggy Miles, Rebecca Nelson and Wanda Ramsey.
Survivors include four sons, Jim (Dana) Below of Advance, Lynn (Barb) Below of Oran, Mo., Tim (Meghan) Below of Randles and Andy (Yvette) Below of Scott City; a daughter, Kimberly (Dallas) Pettit of Perkins, Mo.; a sister, Judy Dooley of Cape Girardeau; 13 grandchildren, Allie, Alanis and Alandry Below, Nick, Jake and Savannah Below, Houston, Marianna, Charles and Truman Below, Jamie, Levi and Morgan Pettit; and a great-grandchild, Marli Sadler.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church of Delta.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Wounded Warriors Project, Delta First Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
