SAMUEL GOODWIN

PERRYVILLE -- Samuel Goodwin, 71, of Perryville died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 1995, at Perry County Nursing Home. He was born July 19, 1924, at East St. Louis, Ill. He was married to Lorene Buff in 1971. Goodwin was employed by the Missouri State Highway Department as a mechanic. He also was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, the American Legion Post 133 and VFW Post 4282 and a veteran of the U.S. Navy...

PERRYVILLE -- Samuel Goodwin, 71, of Perryville died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 1995, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born July 19, 1924, at East St. Louis, Ill. He was married to Lorene Buff in 1971.

Goodwin was employed by the Missouri State Highway Department as a mechanic. He also was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, the American Legion Post 133 and VFW Post 4282 and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sue Kaiser of St. Louis; a son, Sam Goodwin Jr. of New Hampshire; three sisters, Frances Compton of Belleville, Ill, Martha Mudd of Dupo, Ill., and Dorothy Witten of Kingman, Ariz.; two brothers, Rubin Goodwin of Millstadt, Ill., and Bernard Goodwin of Roy, Utah; and four grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
