Samuel "Mike" Durham, 69, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2018.
He was born April 28, 1948, in Cape Girardeau to the late Samuel Harrison and Elsie Gladys Matlock Durham. Mike married Diane Gregg in Jackson. She survives.
Mike worked as a lead man for Procter & Gamble for nearly 30 years. Most recently, he drove a bus and helped with activities for the Community Counseling Center in Cape Girardeau. He was an avid crappie fisherman, hunter, taxidermists and made his own lures.
Loving survivors include his wife of 41 years, Diane, of Cape Girardeau; son, Rodney (Rachel) Durham of Cape Girardeau; daughters, Shelley Sue Durham (Jeff) Howell of Jonesboro, Illinois, and Rabecca Ann Ticer of Bloomfield, Missouri; sister, Glenda Scheper of Jackson; grandchildren, Brittany Mae Dowdy (Shane) Judd, Dylan Michael Pullum, Angel Diane Ticer, Destiny Love McIntyre, Chloe Elizabeth Dowdy and Wyatt Michael Durham; great-grandchildren, Charlotte "Charlie" Sue Judd, Kayson Michael McIntyre and Violet "Boogie" Judd; and sisters-in-law, Tammie (Ray) Goodson of Highland, Missouri, and Tina (Todd) Ramsey of Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Iva Jean Hart; and brothers-in-law, Ricky Lee Gregg and Bob Scheper.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
Funeral will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Brad Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park Cemetery in Advance, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
