Taylor, 65, died Friday, Jan. 12, 1996, at his home, following a brief illness.

He was born Dec. 12, 1930, in Tennessee, son of Sam and Mary E. Dunaway Taylor Sr.

Taylor was a retired farmer.

Survivors include a son, Andy Taylor of Eldorado, Ill.; two brothers, Jim and Russell Taylor of East Prairie; three sisters, Ida Putnam and Mary Myers of East Prairie, and Rosie Parker of Huntsville.

He was preceded in death by two half brothers.
