JONESBORO, Ill. -- Funeral for Sam A. McGee of Jonesboro will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Larry Shacklee will officiate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today...

McGee, 69, died Thursday, March 4, 1999, at Union County Hospital.

He was born June 21, 1929, at Dongola, son of Sam A. and Alberta Hickam McGee.

McGee was retired from Choate Mental Health Center. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Anna and Woodmen of the World. He was a veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include two sisters, Betty Miller and Virginia Huckleberry of Anna.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
