BROSELEY, Mo. -- Sally C. Morehead, 74, of Broseley died Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at her home.
She was born Aug. 28, 1939, at Qulin, Mo.
Sally received an associate of arts degree from Three Rivers Community College in May 1975, a bachelor of science in education from Arkansas State University on Aug. 13, 1976, and a master of science in education from ASU on Aug. 5, 1994.
She was a teacher 28 years, 26 years with the Twin Rivers School District, and two years at Port Arthur, Texas. She was a principal five years at Bootheel State School.
Survivors include five children, Robert Campbell (Tracy Page) Morehead of Leopold, Mo., Sabrina K. Morehead of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Nancy Jane (Patrick Raymond) Kelly of Spring, Texas, Bobbi Jo (Chris) Bowen of Jackson and Kelly Jo (Chad Ellery) Gillham of Walnut Ridge, Ark.; a brother, Loyce Campbell; and two sisters, Phyllis Cookson and Joan Swain.
Also 12 grandchildren, Sally Jean Youngs, Courtney Christina (Wesley) Wheeler, Joshua Raymond Kelly, Lauren Aubrei Fister, Taylor Christine Bowen, Caroline Riley Bowen, Grace Skyler Gillham, Sydney Nicole Gillham, Ellery Jo Gillham, Trevor James Morehead, Macy Page Morehead and Tanner Rob Morehead; and a great-grandchild, Chloe Rae Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Clifford and Ethel Hudgens Campbell; and a daughter, Janet Gwen Fister.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Thursday at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Johnny Meese officiating. Burial will be in Qulin Cemetery.
