SALLY BACON CONYERS

CHAFFEE -- Sally Conyers, 95, of Doniphan, died Monday, Sept. 9, 1991, at the home of a daughter in Chaffee.

She was born June 20, 1896, at Doniphan, daughter of John and Mary Crowe. She married Charles Spencer Bacon July 14, 1914. He died in 1933. She then married Jess Conyers in 1948, who died in 1962.

Conyers was a member of Macedonia Methodist Church at Gradin.

Survivors include two daughters, Ruth Sullivan and Ann Larmie of Chaffee; two sons, Spencer Bacon of Plainwell, Mich., Bill Bacon of Doniphan; 21 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great-grandchildren, and a great-great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three sons, a daughter and a grandson.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Macedonia Church. The Rev. Fred Mammon will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.f
