CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Frances Saline Heisserer, 81, of Chaffee, died Thursday, March 13, 2003, at her home.
She was born May 25, 1921, in Finley, Tenn., daughter of Ben and Zodie Griffin Medlin.
She married G.A. "Bud" Heisserer on Sept. 21, 1947. He preceded her in death on July 10, 1975.
She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee, Daughters of St. Ambrose, and Chaffee American Legion Auxiliary Post 389. She had worked at and helped St. Ambrose Catholic School for many years. She was a retired president of Heisserer Oil Company in Chaffee.
Survivors include, five sons, David "Skip" Heisserer and John Heisserer, both of Cape Girardeau, Michael Heisserer and Mark Heisserer, both of Chaffee, and Daniel Heisserer, of Tampa, Fla.; two daughters, Paula SheaCalvert of Highland, Ill., and Rebecca Heisserer of Memphis, Tenn.; and 10 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee. The Rev. Ralph Duffner will officiate. Msgr. William Stanton will assist.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
