SADIE J. FELTZ

PERRYVILLE -- Sadie J. Feltz, 101, of Perryville, died Tuesday, July 30, 1991, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 5, 1889, in Perry County, daughter of John and Theresa Sutterer Thieret. She married Grover Feltz Oct. 21, 1909. He died Nov. 19, 1968.

Feltz had been a seamstress at a shoe factory, and member of St. John the Baptist Church at Lithium.

Survivors include a son, Earl Feltz of St. Marys; a daughter, Hazel Thompson of Perryville; a step brother, Aloysius Esselman of Perryville; two step sisters, Francis Brewer and Lettie Regelsperger of Perryville; two grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a great-great-grandchild, five brothers, two sisters, three step brothers and two step sisters.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Sereno. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Thursday, and until 9:30 a.m. Friday.
