BLOOMFIELD -- R. V. Vanover, 81, of Bloomfield died Saturday, April 8, 2000, at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 12, 1918 in Tanner, son of William Richard and Grace Vanover.
He and his wife, Trecie, were married in October 1937. She died Dec. 21, 1996.
Survivors include three sons, Vernon Vanover of Sikeston, Olen Vanover of Bloomfield and Theral Vanover of Puxico; a sister, Betty Hodges of Sikeston; 10 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call today from 5-8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with John Talbert officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
