JONESBORO, Ill. -- Ruth Wilson, 72, of Jonesboro, died Thursday, July 5, 2001, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Murphysboro, Ill.
She was born Jan. 25, 1929, in Reynoldsville, Ill., daughter of Harry and Mae Jackson Wilson. She was employed as a mental health technician at Choate Mental Health Center for many years and was a member of the Jonesboro Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Stamp and Kathy York, both of Jonesboro; four sisters, Mary Lacy, Frank Meisenheimer, Oma Treece and Violet Boyd, all of Jonesboro; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hileman & Parr Funeral Services. Funeral will be Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. John Prather officiating. Burial will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
