ANNA, Ill. -- Ruth Williams, 79, of Anna, died Tuesday, July 27, 1993, at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.
She was born Feb. 1, 1914, at Jonesboro, daughter of James L. and Almeada Lewis Turner. She and Bill Barnhart were married May 25, 1933. He died May 12, 1977. She married Arch Williams Jan. 31, 1984, who died Jan. 31, 1992.
Williams was a member of Alto Pass Congregational Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Barnhart Jr. of Marshall, Barney Barnhart of Jonesboro; two daughters, Pat Etherton and Jennie Bridgeman of Anna; three stepdaughters, Doris Williams of Wolf Lake, Jennie Otten of Jonesboro, Margaret Rodgers of Carbondale; eight grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two grandsons.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Crain Funeral Chapel in Anna. The Rev. Gerald Bethards will officiate, with burial in Anna Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
