DEXTER -- Ruth Webb, 74, of Dexter died Sunday, Aug. 16, 1998, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
She was born Dec. 31, 1923, in Bicknell, Ind., daughter of Benjamin and Ethel Qualls Green. She and Darrell Isaac Webb were married Dec. 9, 1952. He died July 17, 1983.
Webb had lived in Dexter since 1957. She and her husband owned and operated Vend-O-Matic Sales of Dexter. She was a member of Eagles and Elks clubs.
Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Devore of Dexter; two brothers, Bob Green of Florida, Ben Green of Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters, Melvina Crecelius of Dexter, Cindy Hawkins of Tempe, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday. An Elks service will be held at 7.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Virgle Devore officiating. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
