RUTH SNYDER

Funeral for Ruth M. Snyder of Cape Girardeau will be held at 2 p.m. today at Caldwell Memorial Chapel in Park Hills, Mo. The Rev. Willard Snyder will officiate. Burial will be in Hillview Memorial Gardens Cemetery near Farmington, Mo.

Snyder, 76, died Saturday, Feb. 3, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born July 10, 1924, at Doe Run, Mo., daughter of Jesse L. and Maude Hawkins Hays. She married H. Calvin Snyder.

Snyder was a member of Order of Eastern Star in Marion, Ill., and was past worthy high priestess of White Shrine of Jerusalem.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Randall Snyder of Mt. Vernon, Ill.; two sisters, Eileen Rhodes of Cape Girardeau and Margaret Marler of Park Hills.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
