Ruth Rendleman

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- Ruth Rose Rendleman, 99, of Carbondale died Sunday, Sept. 12, 2004, at Oak Grove Care and Rehab Center.

She was born Aug. 11, 1905, in Union County, daughter of David and Ida Hess Rendleman.

Rendleman was a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. She was a retired state worker.

Survivors include two nephews, Charles Friedline of Jonesboro, Ill., and James Friedline of Williamson, Ga.

Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Anna City Cemetery in Anna, Ill.

Crain Funeral Home Pleasant Grove Chapel in Murphysboro, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
