RUTH MILLER

TAMMS, Ill. -- Ruth Miller, 91, of Tamms, died Sunday, Dec. 10, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born Feb. 8, 1904, at Thebes, daughter of George and Emma Livingston Gilbert. She and Paul Miller were married Feb. 3, 1935. He died June 29, 1990.

Miller was a charter member of Happy Hours Senior Citizens Club in Tamms, and board member of Tamms AARP Chapter.

Survivors include a daughter, Paula Eickelman of Tamms; three granddaughters; a great-grandson, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.

Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms from 5-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John McCarthy officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery near Dongola.
