CAIRO, Ill. -- Ruth M. Crabtree, 82, of Cairo died Thursday, April, 17, 1997, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.
She was born Aug. 25, 1914, in Cairo, daughter of Green and Margaret Coyle Crabtree. She was an assistant cashier at First Bank & Trust Co. in Cairo before her retirement.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and St. Patrick's Altar Guild.
She is survived by two nieces, Barbara A. Michaels of Cape Girardeau, and Joan Bates of Elmhurst, Ill.
She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo. The rosary will be said at 7 at the funeral chapel.
A Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Jerome Fortenberry officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery at Villa Ridge.
