Ruth Kirn

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Ruth D. Kirn, 83, of Perryville died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004, at her home.

She was born Aug. 8, 1921, at Friedheim, Mo., daughter of George and Clara Bangert Deimund.

She and Rudolph J. Kirn were married April 14, 1945, at Perryville. He died Oct. 10, 1984.

Kirn was retired from Gilster-Mary Lee Corp. and was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors incude two sons, Stanley Kirn of Fenton, Mo., Larry Kirn of Labadie, Mo.; a sister, Emma Wirth of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and three brothers.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will continue from 6:30 to 10:50 a.m. Wednesday.

The funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
