CHAFFEE -- Ruth Ellen Holman, 55, of Chaffee died Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999, at her home. She was born Sept. 19, 1943, at Jackson, daughter of Albert and Oma Mary Herzog Goehman. She and Cecil L. Holman Sr. were married July 13, 1962, at Mounds, Ill. She had worked as a manager at Shoney's Restaurant in Cape Girardeau. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Chaffee...

CHAFFEE -- Ruth Ellen Holman, 55, of Chaffee died Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999, at her home.

She was born Sept. 19, 1943, at Jackson, daughter of Albert and Oma Mary Herzog Goehman.

She and Cecil L. Holman Sr. were married July 13, 1962, at Mounds, Ill.

She had worked as a manager at Shoney's Restaurant in Cape Girardeau. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Chaffee.

Survivors include her husband; six sons, Cecil L. Holman Jr., Chris Holman and Roger Holman, all of Turnertown, Texas, Stoy and Joe Holman, both of Chaffee, and James Holman of Tyler, Texas; five sisters, Betty Asbridge and Judy Dewrock, both of Chaffee, Marilyn Anglin of Delta, Donna Franklin of Kilgore, Texas, and Barbara McCormick of Gordonville; and 14 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. William Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
