KARNAK, Ill. -- Ruth Jones Hanle, 91, of Karnak died Sunday, July 1, 2001, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

She was born Sept. 26, 1909, at Hillermen, Ill., the daughter of Ollie and Alice Chun Jones. She married Ed Hanle, He died in 1984.

She was a retired employee of the Main Bros. Box & Lumber Co. in Karnak. She was a member of the Laborers Union Local 773.

She was a member of the Karnak First United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.

She is survived by two daughters, Louise Mathis and Shirley Evers, both of Karnak; two sisters, Vestle McKinney of Marion, Ill., and Pauline Judson of Saline, Mich.; and a grandson.

She also was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and three brothers.

Friends may call from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday at the Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Alvin Thomas and Joey Dunning officiating.

Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery at Cypress, Ill.
