Ruth Barbara Brennecke, 83, of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Dec. 9, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born March 8, 1908, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of William and Mary Beaudean Franz. She married Ralph H. Brennecke Aug. 13, 1934, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death May 24, 1991.
Brennecke was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and past member of St. Ann's Sodality.
Brennecke and her husband operated the Blue Hole Restaurant, on South Sprigg and later on North Kingshighway, from 1943 to 1968.
Survivors include two daughters, Christine Fulton of Jackson, Billie J. Haupt, Cape Girardeau Route 1; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Ron Hoye will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 p.m.
