Ruth Ann Blair

Ruth Ann Blair, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 28, 1928, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of William Maxwell and Edna Lillian Riddle Blair.

She was a 1947 graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School and a member of First Baptist Church.

She was employed by Southwestern Bell as a cashier for more than 33 years and was an AT&T Pioneer.

She is survived by a brother, Joseph Blair of Acworth, Ga.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at noon Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mike Shupert officiating.

Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
