DEXTER, Mo. -- Russell Keith Jackson, 67, of Dexter died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 17, 1934, at Kennett, Mo., the son of John F. and Grace Davis Jackson. He married Vaudine Goodrich on June 19, 1956, at Hernando, Miss. She survives.
He was a Pentecostal, a former employee of Purolator Filter Co. in Dexter and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He also is survived by two daughters, Mary Jo Backfisch of Ozark, Mo., and Jeris Knight of Dexter; a brother, Bill Jackson of Dexter; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel with Avis Murray officiating.
Burial will be at the Armstead Dowdy Cemetery.
